How to Build a Glasshouse - Other Designs

This neat little glasshouse has a two-level roof with louver windows
built into the wall between two roof lines. Suggested method of
construction is first dig out ground under walls and pour a strip
concrete footing approximately 300 mm wide and 150 mm deep. Then bolt 75
mm by 50 mm timber plates to footing.
Wall studs are constructed in
conventional manner and spaced to suit width of horticultural glass and
glazing bars.
Glazing bars are screwed to studs and horticultural glass
is fitted into bars and held with clips. Roof is constructed by spanning
glazing bars from wall plate to wall plate.
