How to Build a Glasshouse - The classic lean-to glasshouse

This is an idea for making use of a blank wall of the house itself or the garage. The glasshouse is constructed with standard glazing bars fixed to timber framework. The timber framework is screwed to the brick wall and bolted to a concrete footing under the walls.

Glazing bars are used on the roof and three walls. Bars are fixed vertically to two end walls and horizontally to side wall. In-fill panels of asbestos cement are used in the section above the door and around the base of the walls.
