How to Build a Glasshouse - A Frame Glasshouse

The popular "A" frame construction is adapted here for glasshouse needs.
The unit is designed for a southerly aspect in the northern hemisphere
and northerly aspect in the southern hemisphere. Clear glass sides
protected by hinged lath-covered awnings which create an interesting
shadow pattern while allowing entry of filtered sunlight. These awnings
can be lowered during high winds and heavy hailstorms.
The height of the structure is above normal boundary fence level so it
will be necessary before building to submit a sketch, or the drawings
published here, to your local authorities. You must show the position of
the proposed glasshouse in relation to existing buildings and boundary
line.
